Vanuatu’s Marcel Houssimoli will compete in the London 2012 Paralympics.

The International Paralympic Committee has confirmed to the Vanuatu Paralympic Committee that Houssimoli will compete in athletics as a wildcard in the 100m, 200m and 400m in the T37 category.

The Paralympic Games are the highest level of sporting competition for athletes with disabilities.

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) has announced a record-breaking collection of Rights Holding Broadcasters to screen the Paralympic Games across the globe this summer.

The London 2012 Paralympics will be one of the most successful and widely broadcast yet and now Vanuatu will be a part of it.

Houssimoli was rewarded with a wildcard after he competed in the 2011 Oceania Paralympic Championships in Darwin, Australia.
