U14M 1, U16M 1 and U18M 1 grand finals will be played this Sunday 21st September at Brendale. All other junior competitions are finished for the championship 2014 and will return on Friday 10th of October for the summer season 2014.

Mini ball, Aussie hoops and NGBL junior Silver will return on Saturday 11th October at BRENDALE.more

NBL basketball is back in Brisbane

The National Basketball League will return to Brisbane next month with the Queensland capital to host the annual pre-season tournament – the NBL Blitz.

All eight NBL teams will play for the Loggins-Bruton Cup over three days from Friday, September 19 to Sunday, September 21 at NAB Stadium, Auchenflower.more

SBL men win a place in the grand final!

Congratulations to our SBL men who have advanced to the SBL grand final following a great 81-64 win over Brisbane Capitals in the semi final last night. After months of preparation for NWB Senior teams their first home game of the 2014 season is here and they need your support!Come along to the South Pine Sports complex, Brendale this Saturday night to see all four of our senior teams in action. Bairstow joins Wizards for 2014 QBL season!

The Northside Wizards have taken a major step in preparing for the 2014 Womens QBL season, announcing the appointment of Nikki Bairstow as the club’s head coach. Bairstow brings to the club 20 years experience on the sidelines, her impressive coaching career path having taken in stops at every level in the country including the AIS, the WNBL,SEABL and QBL. Trials will be held in late January '14.more
