October to March
The Elite Pathway for Toowoomba Junior Basketball is the participation in the Basketball Queensland Junior Basketball Competition, AKA - BQJBC.
This competition starts each year in October and runs through to the March of the following year.
Toowoomba plays against teams from all over South East Queensland, Including:
- Brisbane
- Gold Coast
- Runaway Bay
- Logan
- Ipswich
- Northside
- South West Metro
- Redlands
- Sunshine Coast
- Noosa
- Southern Districts
- Caboolture
The Toowoomba Mountaineers looks to field teams in the following age groups:
- Under 12 Boys and Girls
- Under 14 Boys and Girls
- Under 16 Boys and Girls
- Under 18 Boys and Girls
- Under 21 Boys and Girls
Qualified Coaches are provided to enhance the skills of each player and to guide the team through the competition.
Teams are divided into three divisions based on ability, these competitions are:
- Premier League (Division 1)
- Challenge Cup (Division 2)
- Southern Cup (Division 3)
Players are selected into Toowoomba representative teams based on there participation and performance in the Toowoomba Junior Club Championship.
