Queenslanders Vying for National Spots

A number of Queensland’s elite basketball athletes are this week working hard to advance their chances of national team selection, as they attend the Australian Development Camp in Canberra.

The eight players join a host of other elite junior athletes from across the country at the Australian Institute of Sport for the five-day camp, which focusses on developing players, coaches, and officials for international competition.

 

Players invited to attend the camp are eligible for the 2013 FIBA Oceania world qualifiers against New Zealand and the 2014 Under 17 World Championships, with team selections to be made at the conclusion of the camp on Friday.
