Broncos Selections for 2014-15 Season

 

On behalf of the junior coaches and Broadmeadows ‘Broncos’ Basketball Association, I would like to thank all the players who attended our try-outs.

I was very pleased to see how all the players competed with intensity, enthusiasm and paid attention to the instruction provided by the coaching staff.

As with any try-out selection for an elite program, it is a competitive process. Not every player training will make a team. We will not be creating teams so every player can play representative basketball. Every team in our program must have a clear purpose to help develop players with the potential to play in our senior programs.

Selections have been based on performance over the try-out sessions and include assessment of the player’s ability, willingness to work, attitude, ability to take instruction and potential to improve.

For the players selected we need you to confirm acceptance of your selection in the team assigned by emailing bba.programs@bigpond.com by 4pm Wednesday 15^th October, 2014. Please include your name & team you have been selected in.

For the players who are unsuccessful thank you for your efforts. We will keep your contact details on a “standby” list as there are sometimes players who decide to not take up their team selections. In this instance we will approach the players who just missed out on selection.

Otherwise keep working at your game, enjoy this great sport and we welcome you to participate in our try-outs next year.
