SENIOR BASKETBALL

Maroochy Clippers Basketball runs senior domestic competitions for players at B Grade, A Reserve and A Grade levels, for both men and women.

A-Reserve Men play on Monday nights, B Grade Men  Tuesday nights and Social Woman on Thursday nights in a more relaxed competition. A- Grade Men and A-Grade Women both play on Wednesday nights in a more experienced and skilled competition.  Senior teams are required to supply their own uniforms.

WHO ARE WE?

Suncoast Clippers Basketball is a ‘Local’ Sunshine Coast Basketball Association, which was established in 1972.  The Club serves the needs of basketball players and fans on the Sunshine Coast; from under 8’s to under 21 juniors, senior domestic competitions, and representative basketball through to elite senior teams playing in the Queensland State Basketball League (QBL).

CLIPPERS QBL PROGRAM

Our elite men and ladies senior teams – the Clippers play in the Queensland State Basketball League (QBL).  We also have Development League teams which play in a competition which underpins the QBL.  All club players have the opportunity to trial out for the QBL Clippers teams.  Our best seniors and top juniors (under 18’s) make up the playing rosters for these teams.  The QBL Clippers play home and away games against teams from Cairns to the Gold Coast.  Home games are an exciting spectacle with our stadium one of the best home crowd venues in the  competition.
