 Monday 25th August – Monday 8th December 2014

Venue: Southern Cross School k-12 Gymnasium

  3.40-4:10pm: K-2: Tot-ball scrimmage Play (4yrs-6yrs)

Through a game sense approach, the Tot - ball scrimmages will assist in developing your child’s necessary physical motor skills. The basic fundamental motor skills acquired from these scrimmages will improve the young child’s self-esteem and confidence. This friendly environment provides your child with a sense of belonging so they can enjoy performing as an individual and as a valued team member. Tot-ball will pave the foundation for further growth that your child will relish in later years.

 4:10pm-6:10pm: Primary Years 3-4 Competition (7yrs-10yrs)

The year’s 3-4 competition is a continuation of your child’s growth as a young sports person. It is a perfect competition for those kids that love to play with their friends in a team environment. This competition not only increases the development of the necessary fundamental motor skills needed for basketball, it also increases your child’s knowledge and understanding of how the game of basketball is played. This is an effective learning environment to challenge and engage the young athlete into becoming critical thinkers, problem solvers and leaders.
