SSWA will be holding trials for U/12s on 19th of March 2014 & U/18s on 18th of March 2014. Selected athletes will compete in the SSWA Basketball Tournament in Townsville, QLD from the 15th - 23rd of August 2014.

A favourite Sun, Michael Clarke, has been accepted into an NCAA Division I college in the USA to study coaching at a master’s level. He will shortly relocate there with his wife, Kelly, for an extended period of study and practical experience in the home of basketball. He looks forward to seeing what opportunities arise during his time overseas.more
The West Rise Basketball competition is run by KDBA and is played here at Ray Owen. The competition is for people with an intellectual disability and is the first of its kind in Western Australia.
