The Basketball WA Junior Development Carnivals are proudly sponsored by Healthway through the Smarter than Smoking message. 

The aim of the Smarter than Smoking Junior Development Carnivals is to introduce children (Under 12) and parents to the WABL Environment.

Basketball WA hosts three Smarter than Smoking Junior Development Carnivals open to all WABL associations throughout the season, all carnivals are held at the WA Basketball Centre in Floreat. The dates for 2014 are:

• Sunday 15 June @ WA Basketball Centre
• Sunday 27 July @ WA Basketball Centre
• Sunday 24 August @ WA Basketball Centre

Games are roughly scheduled to start at 8amand run at hourly intervals.
