SHOES FOR THE ROOS

Students from Alekarenge School representing the community

As part of the leagues ongoing committment to the community, we are supporting Vice President Darryl Jarvis' daughter Alysha who works in the Northern Territory, in donations of football boots for the Ali Curung Kangaroos who play in the Barkly Australian Football League competition.

We want all of this young community to have their own pair of boots or runners with your help. The Ali Curung Kangaroos have been playing in the BAFL since its inception in 1991 and won the 2007 premiership. 2012 will mark the first year an Under 16 team from Ali Curung can enter the BAFL.

For more information regarding the community, school and postage details please contact: Alysha Jarvis- alysha.jarvis@ntschools.net

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
