The AFL has completed its annual revision of the Laws of the Game which is available here in pdf.
Several laws with respect to umpires bouncing, holding the ball and match conditions are covered differently in this years "Laws" version, without changing their intention.
Local League By Laws adapt elements of these Laws to cover the local circumstances, noting however that these are the overarching basic Laws of the Game that all Affiliated Leagues agree to abide by.
Worth a read and revisit for anyone involved in Australian Football
