TEAM REGISTRATION

TEAM ENTRY

To register your Team for the upcoming  season simply fill in the appropriate online Team Nomination form (at bottom of page or on our News page) and send an email with your team list of player names(including their jersey number, school grade and whether a rep player) to info@hkbaspiders.com.au

Information

Competitions are for single school grades e.g grade 1,2,3 etc (for primary and high school) if your team players are a mix of school grades then the team should enter the competition of the oldest school grade, for example a Team with a mix of players in school grade 4 and grade 5 means the team will have to enter the Grade 5 competition (even if only one player is of the older grade)

Please note it is the school grade the child is in and not the year they were born that we consider as their correct competition grade.

Representative players in Teams:

You may have Representative players in your Team, if so the following applies:

The total number of Rep players in a Team is 2.

If a Team wishes to play with 3 Rep players they will need to enter the competition 1 school grade higher.

If a team wishes to play with 4 or more Rep players they will need to enter the competition 2 school grades higher.

example 1: A Team of grade 4 players enters the Grade 4 competition , they have 2 Rep players- This is the correct competition for them (No other rep players of any grade allowed)

example 2: A Team of grade 4 players would like to enter, they have 3 Rep players therefore will need to enter the grade 5 Competition(No other Rep players of any grade allowed)

example 3: A Team of grade 4 players would like to enter, they have 4 Rep players therefore they will need to enter the grade 6 Competition.

If you are unsure of which competition to enter email: info@hkbaspiders.com.au

NOTE: ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE CURRENT INDIVIDUAL PLAYER REGISTRATION TO PLAY IN A TEAM (see individual player registration information)

COURTSIDE

We are currently implementing the use of Courtside scoring (ipads) for all our competitions to replace the paper sheets previously used. Just as before we need to have Team lists and Jersey numbers emailed to us so your Team can be uploaded for the game. All players must have their individual registration to appear in our system and be able to be uploaded therefore if Players are not registered they will not appear on courtside.

We can not add Players at the time of or during the evening of the game. If a Player needs to be added to the Team list , please notify the office ASAP so staff are able to check that they are registered and then add.

Players whose registration has expired will have unregistered showing under their name, this will need to be renewed to play.

Individual player stats will not be changed after the game.

In the initial period paper sheets will still be present at games (in addition to courtside) to ensure all games go ahead without delay.

All players names will automatically be printed on the scoresheet. If your name is not present please handwrite your FULL NAME when signing on and the office staff will manually add your name to the list (Players names can only be added to the teamsheet when they are registered and then in our system)

Throughout the season if (U) appears next to a players name it means that player's individual registration has expired and needs to be renewed ASAP
