The Wests Greater Northern Rugby League Academy program will hold a 2 day camp this weekend the 10th and 11th November, 2012.

The camp allows the coaches to assess the skills of the players. The players will run through a program of drills in the key areas of rugby league. These skills will be advanced as the program progresses ovee the coming months.

Players will also be lectured on Hydration and Nutrition, results from their fitness testing 3 weeks ago and Communication. The players will also be put through some basic media training to help them in the future.

Head coach, Peter Stevens looks forward to the annual camp. Stevens said “the camp gives the coaches an opportunity to work with the players on all the skills of the game. Over the 2 days the players have to work at a high level for long periods, which shows coaches the attitudes the players will take forward over the summer.
