2013 Affiliate Referee Development Program

Next year provides a fantastic opportunity for affiliates to gain a number of referee coaches and presenters, strengthening support networks for new referees and increasing the ease in which new referees can be trained.

TFSA encourages all affiliates to support the Affiliate Referee Development Program (ARDP) by nominating individuals to attend the weekend occurring on the 9th & 10th of February.

What: Affiliate Referee Development Program

When: Saturday 9th & Sunday the 10th February, 2013.

Where: TFSA Office, 400 Gilles St, Adelaide 5000.

Cost: Free (travel & accommodation expenses for regional affiliates 100% subsidized)

What’s Included: Level 1 Referee Coach Course & Level 1 Presenters Course.

Prerequisites: Participants are required to be a Level 2 referee (L2R course in Adelaide on Jan 20th, 2013)

Accreditation through the ARDP Program will:

  • enable members to gain presenter qualifications
  • enable members to gain referee coach qualifications
  • enable members from affiliates to run level one technical courses at their own affiliates
  • enable members from affiliates to assess, coach and mentor referees at their affiliates

The timing is opportune for affiliates to expand their network of referees and improve the support available to them. If you would like to register any of your members, please email James at the office; javemarg@touchsa.com.au .

NOTE: To provide time for materials to be ordered and accommodation to be booked, please nominate before January 18, 2013.

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
