Please find below the 2013 proposed competition dates and affiliation fees agreed at the Netball Wellington Centre AGM held 4th December 2012.

Dates for the season have been put forward for approval and should remain as below pending any key changes resulting from re-establishing Netball Centres within the new Netball Central Zone structure.　  

Proposed 2013 dates*:
Wednesday 20th March – Team registrations close for Premier, Premier Reserve & Senior grades
Wednesday 10th April – Team registrations close for Collegiate grades
Saturday 13^th April – Senior Grading Day
Saturday 13^th April – Start of season for Premier 1 competition only
Saturday 20^th April – Start of season for Premier 2 & 3, Premier Reserve and Senior grades
Saturday 11^th May – Start of season for Collegiate grades
Saturday 1^st June – no games for all grades (Queen’s Bday Weekend)
Thursday 6^th June – Regional Super League (RSL) Round 1 starts
Saturday 15^th June – Start of Challenge Round for Premier 3/Premier Reserve/Senior grades
Saturday 15^th June - Start of Division 1 competition
Saturday 22^nd June – Start of Challenge Round for Collegiate grades
Saturday 6^th July – Start of Championship Round for Premier 3/Premier Reserve/Senior grades
Sunday 7^th July – RSL Promotion/Relegation
Thursday 11^th July – RSL Round 2 starts
Saturday 13^th July – Start of Championship Round for Collegiate grades
Saturday 20^th July – no game for Collegiate Grades only
Saturday 27^th July – no game for Collegiate Grades only
Monday 29^th July – Regional Secondary Schools League (RSSL) starts
Thursday 22^nd August – RSL semi-finals played
Monday 26^th August – RSSL finals played
Thursday 29^th August – RSL finals played
Saturday 31^st August – Finals for Division1/Premier 3/Premier Reserve/Senior grades
Saturday 7^th September – Finals for Collegiate grades
Monday 2^nd December – Netball Wellington Centre Annual General Meeting

2013 Affiliation Fees (including GST)

Premier 1 and 2	$1,980.00	per team
Premier 3 - Senior 2	$1,700.00	per team
Collegiate - Premier 1 & 2	$1,800.00	per team
Premier Collegiate Teams	$1,500.00	per team
Collegiate - 1 - 4	$850.00	per team
Collegiate Outdoors	$570.00	per team
Satellite	$135.00	per team

There is a small increase in fees for most grades compared with 2012.　 Last year, fees were increased only by the cost of playing indoors.　 Unfortunately this year we need to increase fees to reflect increased operational costs such as increased insurance premiums, increasing repairs and maintenance, general cost and the increasing difficulty in obtaining grant and sponsorship funding.  We are very conscious that if fees are too high, it may impact on participation levels and we will be working to manage costs proactively during the year.

Dates for payment have not yet been set but will be advised on this website following the Board meeting next week.
