Netball Wellington Centre
(Wellington Lion Foundation Netball Championship - Provincial Team)
 

Netball Wellington Centre is soon to compile a region-wide team to compete in the national Lion Foundation Netball Champs (LFNC - previously known as the NPC). We currently welcome applications the Head Coach role for the Wellington Team.  Once the Head Coach role has been appointed we shall then begin the process of seeking applicants for the Assistant Coach and Team Manager.

These are all volunteer positions which provide a fantastic opportunity to further develop yourself. Travel and accommodation will be covered to attend away fixtures and tournaments and you will receive full support and admiration from the Netball Wellington Centre throughout the campaign.  The LFNC campaign runs for around 11 weeks in total.  For an indication of key commitments for the upcoming 2014 LFNC Season and to access an application form and job description please click here

Netball Central Zone 
(Haier Pulse - Francise level coach)
 

The ANZ Championship is the world premier netball competition. Netball Central Zone is seeking applications for the Assistant Coach of the Central Pulse netball team for the 2015 season.

 

The successful applicant will be an experienced coach that has had exposure to representative coaching, is tactically astute, has experience in technical aspects of the game, performance analysis and has extensive knowledge of netball. As the assistant coach you will need to work alongside other members of the management team including the head coach, team manager, strength and conditioning coach, physiotherapist, nutritionist etc. You will need to be able to assist in the planning, developing and implementation of the Central Pulse programme.

 

Other competencies include a high level of communication and leadership skills. The role of the assistant coach will also be the key relationship person for the Zone with the Emerging Talent Manager. The outcomes of this relationship will be to assist with the identification of talent and successfully have a pathway for our emerging players within the Zone, from school through to the Central Pulse.

 

This role is a part time developmental role within the Central Pulse, however involves significant travel in February during the pre-season and in season from March – June.

Newlands Primary School 
(Primary grade coach)
 

We are a Year 6D netball team “Newlands Strikers” from Newlands Primary School who play as part of the Northern Suburbs Netball competition held in Newlands on Saturdays.

We are looking for a permanent coach with the right skills who can help train our Year 6 girls at Newlands primary school during the week after school and also attend their games on Saturdays.

Wellington East Girls’ College
(Collegiate & Premier Grade coaches)

Wellington East Girls' College is seeking netball coaches for our Senior and Junior teams for the 2014 netball season.

WEGC is a high performing School with an outstanding reputation for excellence in Sport. With over one quarter of students involved in Netball from Years 9 – 13, Netball is the highest participatory sport of choice at Wellington East Girls’ College.  In the 2013 season there were over 24 teams representing WEGC over competitions held weekly in Wellington.
February through to September coaches are required to attend regular weekly trainings and games.  Within netball we have a vision to develop players, coaches and officials to the highest level of achievement. It is our aim for students to reach maximum potential at local and regional levels as well as continuing to maintain high levels of participation in forthcoming years.  The School provides support, resources and looks forward to hearing from anyone who would like to get involved in the WEGC Netball culture.

Karori Netball Club are looking for coaches for the 2014 season with a passion for netball and who strive for success. The current club members we have are supportive and all love their netball so there will never be a dull moment coaching with us.

Our teams are in Prem 3, Prem Reserve 3, Senior 1A and Senior 2A, and we welcome anyone who has the skills for any of these levels to contact us.  Some of these coaching positions are paid positions.

Victoria University Netball Club
(Social, Senior and Premier Grade coaches)

Victoria University is seeking coaches for the 2014 netball season. If you are passionate and enthusiastic about netball then come and join our club. 

Vic Uni Netball Club is the largest netball club in Wellington. In 2013 21 teams competed across Premier, Senior and Social grades. The club is made up of around 60% students and 40% professionals and prides itself on keeping fees as low as possible so our student majority is able to continue to play sport while studying

All members are supported by an active committee which puts a strong emphasis on providing appropriate support for all coaches. You can also participate and enjoy in the many fantastic social events TeamVic deliver throughout the season.
