Eligibility criteria
To represent Netball Wellington Centre, players must:

  • aged Under 15, Under 17, Under 19 or Over 19 as at the 1st of January 2016
  • currently be registered, fully financial (all prior fees paid) and actively playing for a current school or club affiliated to our Netball Wellington Centre Winter Competition played at the ASB Sports Centre or Hataitai Netball Courts
  • Players must trial for their affiliated netball centre in the first instance.  If following non-selection players wish to make themselves available to trial for an alternative netball centre, dispensation must be granted from your existing netball centre before being allowed to trial/play for Netball Wellington Centre.
  • In the instance where your affiliated netball centre decides not to enter its own age grade team (U15, U17 or U19), players are then permitted to trial for Netball Wellington Centre provided they first gain dispensation from their affiliated centre.  Please email ndo@netballwellington.co.nz to discuss further.  To access an electronic copy of the Netball Wellington Centre Player Dispensation Request Form click here.

You'll find a list of key commitments below for each age group for the upcoming 2016 Representative season.  It is important that you please take care to consider your availability for each commitment listed below prior to submitting your nomination form to trial.

In special circumstances a dispensation may be granted to those who provide a valid reason for missing one or more trials.  Please be sure to indicate any absences clearly using upon registration so as not to unfairly disadvantage yourself.  If in doubt email ndo@netballwellington.co.nz for clarification.
