2012 NSW Post Classic Dirt Track Titles

Review & Results

The 2012 NSW Post Classic Dirt Track Titles were run and won on the weekend of the 24th and 25th November and from what I am hearing back the riders were happy even though they rode in near heat wave conditions and had to wait 2 hours for an ambulance to start the day. Even after that delay the races went through as planned and we were all done with time to spare

Congrats to all the place getters and to everyone in general who helped to make the meeting what it was.

Special thanks go out to those who helped throughout the weekend not in any particular order but those that come to mind are, Leanne and Chelsea Bathurst, Aldo and Ashley Simonato, Andrew Pope, Dave Smith, Peter Snow, Zara Grifin, Chris Baker, Tommy Charlie and Mark Stevenson, Rod Muir, Brett Lloyd, Steve and Deb PERRY who drove all the way from Canberra just to help ! Geoff Anderson, Sandra Garrard, Jade Bathurst, Leon Anderson, Tim Sanford, race steward and commentator Bob Johnson what a great job he done !, Greg Dale, Mark Staudinger, Herb Conlin, Dennis Myers, David Lawrence, Lyndel and Daryl Butler. Sorry if I missed anyone but as anyone can see it takes quite a few people to make an event like this happen !

Hard Luck story in my opinion has to go to Jake Simonato who until his loose through turn 3 was looking like a true title winner … Jake all I can say is lucky you're young because you have plenty of years to make up for it.

Also disappointing was to see Brad Goodhew not make the saddle due to a licence issue that could not be resolved on the day but again being young has plenty of time to make amends, better luck to you both for next year.

Special Thanks to our sponsors
