Canberra are having their kick off meeting for the year on 23rd - 24th  February

It was known to all as the Kings and Queens event but has undergone a name change now being ACT Long Track Challenge.

Canberra MCC has made an invitation to Penrith club which I have accepted which makes things a little easier for us to ride in it.

These guys support us where they can so let's get our year off to a two-day start and get a few of us down there to wave the Penrith flag

I will be getting there Friday night and camping Friday - Saturday night (which was a great success last year) for some early season bonding and drinks around the fire etc.

There is prize money on some classes for this event as you will see and they have been able to get someone for the canteen for that weekend.

Like all of our meetings now, it is pre-entry only so best to get them in sooner than later'

Any questions may like to be directed to:

Competitors must pre enter via: or Post.

Entry forms available on the Club’s website

….. or in some cases like who is going etc. to myself. (Roy 0418461189)

Re the Sydney Dirt tTrack series, entry forms will be sent out soon and there will be provision to enter for the 3 rounds upfront for those die hards who know they will want to ride all 3 rounds and get there spots secured on the grid.

One thing not mentioned was that all heats and finals will be 3.5 laps

So far i have had a great response to the new format with one member boasting that with 2 bikes he can get 8 rides!

But, of course, change doesn’t always suit everyone and I have 2 classes which have been combined at present due to previous low numbers being the pre 75 125 and pre 70 class which is now combined and has affected a couple of members. So if there are enough guys/girls out there who wish to ride these classes I need to hear from at least 6 of you from each discipline before I can really change anything.

More good news is that some fall out from the Troy Bayliss classic may come our way with some high profile names asking for our dates with a possibility of coming along!

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.

We will need as usual people to help out on the day as flag marshalls starters etc so please if you know someone that can help on the day please bring them along and their efforts will not go unrewarded.

There is also a little bit of track work to be done in regard to new licensing which would be good to get done Thursday afternoon 2nd July 2.30- 3pm onwards, if anyone is available pls call Roy 0418461189

Just a note that there are quite a few riders that have entered but not paid for the CPMCC event to be held on at Nepean Raceway on the 5th July. This is the replacement event that was "rained out" (31.05.2015).

Due to the fact that we have reserves waiting for spots we need you to confirm your commitment by “backing up” your entry with the payment for the event.

I don’t mean people pre paying for a 1 day licence if required, but we do mean for Memberships and Race Entry to be paid prior to the event prior to 27/6/15.

City of Penrith Motorcycle Club. DIRECT DEPOSIT bsb 062589. acc. 10857570

If you are unsure whether or not you have paid, best to confirm.

Otherwise I will post an unpaid list of riders early next week

Sorry we had no option but to cancel todays event (31.05.2015) due to the wet conditions which was supported by the riders who were present for the decision.

The new date for the rerun of this event is the 5th of July

Everyone who was entered for today will automatically have there entry allocated to the new date unless we are informed that you are unable to make it on the 5th of July. Upon which you can have your entry fee refunded or leave it down for 1 of the next events we have which could be either the Classic Charity event 22 23 AUGUST. Club day Sept 27 or the last 1 for the year Nov 8.
If you are unable to attend on the 5 July pls let us know asap so we can offer your position to another rider

Thanks to all that helped out yesterday and today and of course everyone who showed up this morning.
