Perth Heats Up, But Grip Goes Missing

A frustrating Saturday qualifying session left TD mid-pack for a start to race one, which would also prove to be a difficult task due to a lack of grip around the short Barbagallo circuit in Western Australia. Qualifying for race one was tight with less than a second separating most of the field. All teams struggled at times to take care of tyres on an abrasive surface and Sunday’s longer second race will surely be battle of fresh rubber, at least for those who still have some good tyres up their sleeve.more
