Blaze and Wolves Win

In the B Grade game top scorers for the Eagles were Lauren Petersen and Gary Overliese each with10 points. For the Blaze -  newcomer Brent Geritz scored 4 points as did Kaitlyn Gaunson with A Grade coach/mentor Mat McShane scoring 6. 

In A Grade Wicked came from the bottom of the ladder to beat Lions. Dion Reweti top scored for Wicked with 8 points and Dion Sanderson scored 10 for Lions.  During the season Wicked had only beaten Lions twice.  In the play off for the McNeil Cup 9ers were missing Peter Mills but put up a great fight with Jo Salu scoring 10 points.  Wolves managed to keep Mike Manuel to only 4 points.   The score was 20 all at half time but the Wolves kept 9ers scoreless in the second half.  Top scorers for Wolves were Mat McShane with 13 and another newcomer to Rollerblaze Kurt Thomson with 8 points. 

Trophy presentation will be held on Saturday 24 November at Marina Quays.
