Aussie Hoops 2021

Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official junior game development program for 5-10 year olds.

The national program provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve on the court and reap the rewards of skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social co-operation and grassroots sports participation.

Aussie Hoops introduces children to basketball in a structured and accredited environment that connects our game at the grassroots through to the elite level. Our national coaching curriculum and sequentially-developed program consists of warm-up games, skill activities and modified games all delivered by accredited coaches.

2019 Season

Welcome to our 2019 Season

SENIORS - Starting Week Monday 15th July

It's that time of the year again to start sorting out your SENIOR basketball teams, having them sorted and submitted to the committee on or before the AGM (7:30PM 5th June @ Alexandra Stadium) with AT LEAST ONE representetive from each team to attend

NO SENIOR registrations needed to be submitted just yet, registration information will come out after the AGM, after we've established that we have enough teams for a competition

Payment

Last years Senior Fees were $100 (to be payed at time of registration, when senior registrations open) included is:

BVC Primary Affiliation (1 Jul - 30 Jun)                                $40.58 (same in 2018)

Senior Association Fees 2018                                             $59.42 (subject to change)

Fees must be paid prior to taking the court for insurance purposes.

Plus, court fees to be advised (was $450 per team in 2018 but subject to change)

Payment is per team generally to be paid within the first 4 weeks of the season

JUNIORS - Starting Week Monday 22nd July

JUNIORS registration information will come out after the AGM.

Junior Association Fees 2018                                              $14.42 (Subject to change)

Plus, court fees to be advised (was $55 in 2018 season but subject to change)

Court fees once advised must be paid within a certain amount of weeks (TBA)

Nights of Play (TBA - these nights are a rough idea of what we've done in previous years, but could change depening on other club involvements and numbers in age groups, we then use numbers to eastablish age groups aswell)

Juniors 14 & Under Mixed                6:10pm & 7:00pm
