We are short of coaches for our Junior State Cup Representative teams for February 2015. We must supply 2 accredited coaches for each team we send. Currently we have 14 accredited coaches. To send a team in each age group we need 20 accredited coaches. If we don't have them several age groups will miss out. Our association is looking to send a mens over 40's side to the NSW State Cup, held in Port Macquarie, 5,6,7 December, 2014. Trials will be held on Saturday 30 August 2014 at our fields at 4pm. To be eligible you must be registered in our upcoming summer competitions and be born in 1974 or before and committed to training.more
Our Association will be running a Level 1 (beginners) referees course soon. We need referees for our competition and you will be paid to referee. The cost of the course is covered by our Association and takes 1 day to complete plus a short online pre course certificate. You need to be 12 years old and above. We are pleased to announce that our efforts to secure funding for floodlighting at our fields has been successful. In association with Nambucca Shire Council we have been submitting grant applications over the past few years and recently we were informed that the Council has been successful. Funds to install sports level lighting to our fields is included in the grant.more

There has been a marked increase in the number of players arguing with referees this season. Rule 18 states that players are not to talk to the referee. The Captain may respectfully and politely enquire briefly with the referee on decisions. Players arguing with referees and Captains who are not respectful and polite can be sent from the field.more
As per our rules and Touch Football Australia Playing Rules 7th edition any player that is sent from the field for the remainder of the game (not sin bin) by the referee will serve an automatic minimum 2 games suspension. The Committee may increase this suspension period for more serious misconduct as it sees fit. The appeals process costs $200. See our document links for appeals process.more

Our Association is seeking people to be trained in coaching touch football. We need coaches for our representative Junior and Senior Teams. We must supply a formally accredited coach for each of our teams that enter Junior and Senior State Cups. Our association will pay for the cost of the course. Level 1 coaching courses are a 1 day course. You can then move up to levels 2 and 3 if you wish.more
Please be aware that NSW Health - Tobacco Compliance Officers will now be issuing fines to people found smoking at sporting events.
Smoking has been banned at sport venues in spectator areas since 7 January 2013 under the Smoke-free Environment Act 2000.
The fine for smoking at a sporting event is $550 to the individual smoker.
