2014 Team Sheets
The team sheets for use this season have been updated and uploaded to the website. They can be found in the "Library -> Team Sheets" page.
As the pre-season starts, there are a number of clubs looking for players in various age-groups and divisions. Clubs can list vacancies on the "Team Vacancies" page (see menu). If you would like an ad placed, please send details to admin@bankstownsoccer.com.au.
We are currently looking for a suitably qualified Coach for our U-12’s Regional Youth League team. If you are interested in this position please e-mail your credentials to our Development Officer at coaching@bankstownsoccer.com.au or alternatively contact Petar Finka on 0427 749 877 to discuss.
There has been a change in the insurance offered by Football NSW effective for 2014. Football NSW has selected a new broker, Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) who have created a "bundled" package of insurance.

The By-Laws governing the 2014 season have been posted to the website. They can bee found by selecting "Library -> By-Laws and Rules" from the top menu.
Ladies Pre-Season Football Tournaments
There are currently two (2) pre-season tournaments for Ladies teams. These are both being held in Bathurst on the first two (2) weekends of March.
The Proctor Park Challenge is for Ladies in the U12, U13, U15 and U17 teams.
The Mitchell Shield is for AAL teams.

Regional Squad Trials continue. We are still looking for players - and particularly those in the 2014 Under13 and 14's age groups. Please contact the office for details.

BDAFA has secured inclusion in the 2014 Football NSW Regional Competition. The squads will be for age-groups U12 to U15 (players born from 1999 and 2002). Trials will be held at Coleman Reserve, Georges Hall starting on November 26th. Please see the information sheet (here) for the full details and the application form (here).
Those selected will be able to play on Saturday in their BDAFA club and also for the regional squad on the Sunday (fortnightly).

On Monday, 2nd December, the Bankstown District Amateur Football Association held is Annual General Meeting and elected its office bearers for 2014. The list can be found on the "Contacts" page.

The NSW Government from early 2013 has introduced a new ban on smoking in spectator areas of sports grounds or other recreational areas while organised sporting events are being held.Please see the attached fact sheet for more information.

SportingPulse has released a fantastic new iPhone App to allow you to view our Fixtures/Results pages directly through your iPhone or iPad. You can create bookmarks for your favourite teams, see upcoming fixtures including maps and previous matchups, competition ladders and more.
