A MESSAGE FROM THE U15's COACH

Great turn out yesterday to our one off get together / training session before Xmas. Amazing really to see 26 young lads turn up on a Sunday morning fit and raring to go and just as many parents and supporters watching. We also had 3 new boys commit to the tigers in Cooper Ratten, Tom de Koning and Patrick Lecornu.

All three boys are great players in their own right and will add / bring something different to the team. Furthermore Cooper’s Dad, Brett ( former Carlton coach now Hawthorn Midfield coach ) has offered to assist in helping the boys develop which in itself is a huge bonus to have such a quality person and experienced AFL coach around our club and team.

While it’s not my intention to embarrass Patrick Lecornu its worth mentioning the face book message he sent me last night which read and typifies what we as a club and more importantly a team are all about – ‘Thanks for the invite to training Gav it was great and I liked how it was a lot about fitness rather than all being ball work. You’ll definitely see me next Sunday for rego day! The pride you guys have in your club is enormous, and I’ll have that pride as well. CARN THS TIGERS’ Well Patty it’s great to have you, Coops and Tommy on board, we always welcome boys that embrace our club and team ethos.

Well lads until the 1st Sunday in Feb when we come together again as a group, Keep safe and enjoy the summer – And remember keep rolling those legs over and the fitness work up and make sure that you keep handling those full size footy’ s - Yours in football Coach
