PRE SEASON TRAINING

Happy New Year to you all. We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas!

The Mitcham Junior Football Club Under 13s will start our Pre-Season training on Sunday February 5th at Mullauna College (Corner Springfield and Mitcham Roads, Mitcham) - 9.00am - 10.30am. and every Sunday thereafter until further advised. We know it is an early start, but in doing so, it frees up the rest of the day for everyone and also keeps us out of the worst heat of the day at this time of year. We will add a weeknight training session during March at Mullauna as well and we will advise of the day and time at a later date. Friday night training at Walker Park will commence in early April.

All players are asked to please wear appropriate Pre-season training attire including the Mitcham training singlet. They can be last years singlets or new ones will be available for purchase each and every Sunday morning at training for $20. Please note: NO Footy Boots - runners or grass cats only. Please make sure everyone brings a drink bottle to training! There will be frequent drinks breaks.

All players are required to attend training or at least advise of unavailability with a phone call, text or email in advance to either of us. This is a VERY important team rule.

All players should be reminded of the importance of being well fuelled and hydrated before training - if in doubt as to the appropriate foods or fluids to consume before training or games, check out the AIS website at:

We will be doing a check of Hoodie and Polo shirt sizes (with samples) early in Pre-season so that everyone will be able to get the correct sizes. Polo Shirts and Hoodies for Adults will also be available for purchase during the Pre-season.

Please check the upcoming events link on this website for events and dates ahead.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
