CEO's Challenge

Are You Up for the Challenge?

What is the Challenge?

For NSBA members to:

  • Make 1,000,000 shots (in practice, not games)
  • Raise at least $10,000

When is the Challenge?

The challenge starts at 6.00am on Monday, 8 September 2014 and finishes at 5.00pm on Monday, 15 December 2014

How does it work?

The stadium will be open at 6.00am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for NSBA members (who have joined up to the challenge) to come and shoot. You can do your own workout or the workout that I will be doing. I aim to make at least 200 shots each morning. Each morning you pay the normal $5 casual shooting fee and half of this goes to Running 4 Bub.

You also get friends, family, neighbours, school teachers (any one you can think of) to sponsor you for each shot you make! All of this money goes to Running 4 Bub. The more sponsors you get, the more shots you make – the more money we can raise!

Each morning, record how many shots you make and let’s see how long it takes NSBA to reach 1,000,000. I reckon I can make 10,000! You can also count shots at home, at school……as long as you made them!

Why is money going to Running 4 Bub?

Many NSBA members know Alexandra Scott, who was a Norths representative player and suffered a traumatic brain injury last year when she fell skiing on a family holiday. She has set up Running 4 Bub, to donate money to the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, to enable them to buy much needed equipment to help kids with brain injuries.

NSBA is proud of Alexandra, and we want to help her raise money for this great cause.

Who can accept the challenge?

The challenge is open to NSBA members. And, if you are not an NSBA member yet, but would like to participate then please contact me about becoming a member!

How can I get a CEO Challenge Shirt?

NSBA will be selling sleeveless T-Shirts to help raise additional funds for Running 4 Bub. These shirts are available to purchase online as part of the registration process. Simply select your size (available between Extra Small and Extra Large) and colour of choice (Grey, White or Black) before proceeding to the online payment portion of the registration form.

How do you sign up?

You can accept my challenge by registering online or at the front desk at NSBA. Registration costs $5 (which goes to Running for Bub) and then you will receive all the information you need and can start shooting!

See you on 8th September!
