Become a Referee in 2014

Don't like the referees' decisions? Why not consider becoming a Football Wide Bay Referee. Referees are needed in all centres across our Zone. If you are aged 13 or over you can become a referee.
There are many great benefits to becoming a football referee. Whether you still play the game, have retired, or have never played - there is plenty to be gained from picking up the whistle.
With some basic training, you can start refereeing games for your local Association, where you will be allocated matches to suit your level and experience. There are plently of opportunities for skilled referees to advance to higher level positions.
Football refereeing is a great way to stay involved in the game as well as having some fun, making new friends and earn some money along the way.
Registrations open early in 2014, but you can also contact your local association for more details about upcoming Referee Training and Accreditation courses.

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
