Dynasty Basketball Association (DBA) is a non-profit sports organization registered on the 9^th of August 2007 with the Registrar Generals Department of Ghana under the companies code,1963 (Act 179). Full operations started in August 2008.

 Vision: To become the number one basketball organization in Ghana and amongst the best in Africa in the areas of player training and development.

 

1.Mission Statement: Dynasty Basketball Association is an association of basketball players, coaches, officials and fans. Developing the foundation of players, we will focus on grass root basketball, with the goals of players having strong fundamental skills and making grass root basketball attractive to fans and sponsors.    

 

1.Objectives:

The development of youth basketball is DBA’s reason for existence, our short and long term objectives are geared towards this aim which is:

1. To organize standard and consistent player development programmes at the youth level in Ghana
2. To increase the quality of fundamental skills amongst young players in Ghana.
3. To increase the quality of coaching and training at the grassroot level
4. To play a major role in guiding and sourcing opportunities for student athletes in Ghana
   
5. To partner with schools and owners of basketball facilities across the country so as to make our services  and events available to the many young people across Ghana.

 

1.Community Outreach: Within Dynasty Basketball Association is the Dynasty’s Heart Project were we give back to the community through donations, partnerships and fund raisers to sponsor needy and inteligent kids who might not be able to afford to pay for their education. We also seek to support various developmental community projects such as building of schools, basketball courts, free basketball clinics and sourcing educational scholarships for outstanding basketball student athletes.

 

Our future: Dynasty Basketball Association is looking into long term projects which includes media, standard and multipurpose facility development, Grassroot Developmental Tournaments & Leagues and establishing youth elite travel teams.

 

Our Achievements: In just a couple of years of operating Dynasty has made some advancements which has resulted in us gaining more local and international recognition. Our current achievements include:

• Running the best basketball camps in Ghana
• Assisting and guiding brilliant and skillful young student athletes to secure educational scholarships in the USA.
• Assisting the Ghana Basketball Association in organizing youth basketball clinics
