STATE OF ORIGIN SUPER CLINIC for JUNIOR PLAYERS

Rocky Touch is hosting the Queensland State of Origin Open Mens team for a training camp over the last weekend in July. Though our Junior Development Day is scheduled for Sunday 7th February, a number of divisions are getting off to an early start. All children are welcome to attend the DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS. The primary aim is to develop the skills of our junior players and raise the standard of competition.

GET STARTED VOUCHERS - 2016 ROUND DATES

The dates have been set for the 2016 rounds of Get Started Vouchers (up to $150) which can be used for registration to play in sports that are registered for the program - Rocky Touch is registered. The first round in 2016 opens on 22nd January and the second round on 13th July. The funding is used up extremely fast so please be prepared to apply on those dates.more

FOUNDATION COACHING COURSE (EQUIVALENT OLD LEVEL 1)

Rocky Touch is looking at holding a Foundation Coaching course sometime after the September school holidays. Participants will be required to complete an online component (in own time) as well as attending a day long course. It will be open to anyone and there will be a small cost involved. Qld Touch have announced the dates for the 2016 Queensland Junior State Cup. The 21st JSC will be held on 7th, 8th and 9th July, 2016. Unfortunately, Touch is not considered one of the main five sports in this state and we were turned down. TRAINING ON THE BOTTOM FIELDS?

Teams training on the bottom fields are asked to make sure that ALL rubbish is taken with you when you leave. If we have to continue to pick up discarded bottles, rubbish etc, all fields will be closed to training. It's a simple request and those in charge should be able to spread the word to the players and parents who are attending trainings.

A reminder also that the complex is circled by a 'ONE WAY' ring road.  The ring road provides plenty of parking with direct access to fields 8, 9 and 10.
