SEASON 2 NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN

The 2014 Season 2 Touch nominations are now open. Season 2 will commence on Tuesday 7 October 2014. Teams are reminder that the deposit of $500.00 is required prior to a team being placed in the draw.

SEASON 1 PRESENTATIONS

The 2014 Season 1 presentations will occur after the completion of the Mixed Finals at the Bundaberg Touch Clubhouse on the 9 September 2014. BTA will be providing discount refreshments and finger food through the night. All registered players welcomed.

Presentations will include Grand Final winners, player of the final, season best and fairest and BTA awards..more

SEASON 1 FINAL POINTS TABLE

The round games have been completed with the finals divisions finalised. Next week will be the Preliminary Final. Only players who have played five o more games are permitted to participate in the finals series (unless approved by BTA).

A reminder that Games that are tied at full time in the Finals Series will go to a ‘Drop Off’ to determine a winner.more

TOUCH RECEIVES $5,000 FROM COUNCIL's COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM

Bundaberg Touch has been successful in receiving $5,000 from the Bundaberg Regional Council's Community Grants Program. The funding will contribute the the current lighting upgrade to six fields.more

NEWS RELEASE - BUNDY CUP in 2015!!

In a major development for the growth and profile of the sport, the Premier of Queensland, Campbell Newman MP, announced today with Colm Maguire, Chief Executive of Touch Football Australia the inception of the ‘Bundaberg Cup’ Touch Football tournament. Bundaberg will host the new sporting event from 2015 with the inaugural ‘Bundaberg Cup’ to be held next Australia Day weekend: 24-25 January 2015.more

FUNDING FOR ALL WEATHER SHADE

The Queensland Government - Gambling Community Benefit Fund provided $32,000.00 to install an all weather shade structure in front of the clubhouse to benefit the Queensland community.more

FUNDING RECEIVED FOR VOLUNTEERS

The Queensland Government provided $5,460.00 to the Bundaberg Touch Association to conduct Coaching and Referee Accrediation course for volunteers to increase Queenslanders participation in sport and recreation activities.

TOUCH RECEIVES $100,000.00 for LIGHTING UPGRADE

The Queensland Government provided $100,000.00 to the Bundaberg Touch Association to Upgrade lighting to six touch fields to increase Queenslanders participation in sport and recreation activities.

The project is expected to commence in April 2014.more

POWER/WRIST BANDS NOT PERMITTED

Power Performance Bands and Wristbands are regarded as jewellery(TFA Playing Rule 3.5 - Players are not to participate in any match while wearing any item of jewellery, which might prove dangerous)and therefore are not permitted to be worn by players whilst playing touch.more
