QLD GOVERNMENT FUNDING FOR CANTEEN UPGRADE

Bundaberg Touch Association wishes to acknowledge the Queensland Government - Gambling Community Benefit Fund which provided $20,000.00 towards the canteen upgrade to benefit the Queensland community.more

BTA BY- LAWS 2016

Teams/Players are reminder to be familiar with the BY-LAWS(Rules) of the Bundaberg Touch Association... the BTA BY-LAWS can be found under the Documents Tab.more

COMMUNITY GRANT FUNDING FOR CANTEEN UPGRADE

The Bundaberg Touch Association wishes to acknowledge the Bundaberg Regional Council - Community Grants Program which provided $2,000.00 towards the canteen upgrade to benefit our local sporting community.more

SUPER 16 TEAM COMPOSITION

Super 16 - All players must attain the age of 12 years or over by the 31st December.

Super 16 Team Composition: (Maximum of 14 players)
• Minimum 4 under 14yrs aged players
• Maximum of 2 over 16yrs aged playersmore

CANTEEN UPGRADE

The canteen upgrade is well underway and is expected to be completed for the commencement of the 2016 Junior Season.

The Bundaberg Touch Management ask players, coaches, parents and spectators to be mindful of the construction site and construction teams when using the touch facility.more

PLAY BY THE RULES

With the Finals Series commencing next week it is important that we remind ourselves the principles and values in participating in sport, specifically Touch Football - FAIRNESS,RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY and SAFETY...
Attached is the TFA Responsibility Code in which all players, officials and administrators are bound by to ensure we deliver the best possible experience for everyone.more

All teams/player are to be in the correct team shirt by the 15th March 2016. Players not in the correct shirt will not be permitted to play.

AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT FUNDING FOR CANTEEN UPGRADE

The Bundaberg Touch Association wishes to acknowledge the Australian Government - Stronger Communities Programme which provided $20,000.00 towards the canteen upgrade to benefit the local community.more

BUNDABERG TOUCH RECEIVES FUNDING

Bundaberg Touch has received $20,000 in funding to refurbish the associations' canteen facility. Funding has been provided through the Australian Government, Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Stronger Communities Program... The association is required to match $ for $ for the project cost ($40,000).more

POWER/WRIST BANDS NOT PERMITTED

Power Performance Bands and Wristbands are regarded as jewellery(TFA Playing Rule 3.5 - Players are not to participate in any match while wearing any item of jewellery, which might prove dangerous)and therefore are not permitted to be worn by players whilst playing touch.more

BUNDY OFFICIALS SHINE AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

A great effort over the weekend at the 2015 QTF State Championships by the following Bundaberg Referees:
Caleb Dunn - Upgraded to TFA Open Level 4 Referee.
Darren Dunn - Upgrade to TFA Senior Level 4 Referee.
Stacey Murdoch - Awarded the Senior Female Referee Encouragement Award.
Dave Field - Awarded the QTF Referee Volunteer of the Year Award.

FUNDING FOR ALL WEATHER SHADE

The Queensland Government - Gambling Community Benefit Fund provided $32,000.00 to install an all weather shade structure in front of the clubhouse to benefit the Queensland community.more

FUNDING RECEIVED FOR VOLUNTEERS

The Queensland Government provided $5,460.00 to the Bundaberg Touch Association to conduct Coaching and Referee Accrediation course for volunteers to increase Queenslanders participation in sport and recreation activities.

Courses will be programmed shortly...more

TOUCH RECEIVES $100,000.00 for LIGHTING UPGRADE

The Queensland Government provided $100,000.00 to the Bundaberg Touch Association to Upgrade lighting to six touch fields to increase Queenslanders participation in sport and recreation activities.

The project is expected to commence in April 2014.more
