This meeting will review the new requirements from QTA and the KTA selection, participation, coaching and managing guidelines. New nomination/management systems for teams going to the Wide Bay carnival, in November, will be presented.more

We can nominate club teams [eg Hotshots went last year] and/or we can put together teams from several local teams or individuals.

New Penalties apply for incorrect uniform from this week.
# If a player takes the field out of correct uniform that team will be recorded as forfeiting the game. Shirts must be individually numbered and cannot be swapped on the side line.

Q CUP GAME on Sunday
Many thanks to the volunteers that helped on Sunday at the RL Game. The Mollers, the Paynes, the Wilkins and Matt Tarlinton all put in a lot of time to help the club raise some much needed funds.

We have half of Dominators keen to go to this event so all we need is another half a team and we can support Gympies efforts to get some inter club activity going. Again don't be shy give it a go .
Gympie have asked if any of our club teams would like to come down on Saturday 9 August to play at their special "TURNING ON OF THEIR NEW LIGHTS " competition starting about 4pm.more
Following the grading games the club has organised the nominated teams into 4 divisions. Teams are in these divisions for the first 4 weeks during which the club has the opportunity to move teams to assist us in making the most even competition we can.

Each team except 2 [WC Squad and MNW] will play 2 half games this week.
This means we finish 15 minutes later but we get to play against more teams. Young KM will have a break in their games due to an odd number. Remember to turn up early to register and pay [at least $150 must be paid or your team cannot take the field at all].
Please do not ask to pay after the game as refusal may upset you.more
Attached is the club booklet with all the information that you need to nominate and play in the competition. There are several forms that must be completed and signed by the team organiser before the team is fully [updated July 2014] registered.

For this Season the first half is only for children turning 8 or older as it is too cold for the younger players.
It is a new season so any children wishing to try Touch for the first time are welcome to nominate.

The Juniors will play for about 30 minutes tonight with the older groups playing a mini Dash fun event. The younger groups will be testing their skills in different ways during their 30 minutes.
Then they will have their end of season presentation and Sausage Sizzle. $1 will buy a popper and a sausage.more

The main field [Fields 1 and 2] has been closed for all trainings due to the lack of rain and the amount of use it is facing over the next 6 months. Do not use it at all, stay outside the fence please.

Both the U10's made the Grand Finals -both were runners up
U12 girls made the quarter finals
The 2 mixed teams both made the semi finals of the boys divisions.

The start your team has been given has been based on finals results if you played the extra round of finals or the ladder at the end of round games, except for Write Offs.more
It is all set for next weeks end of season grand finals following a hectic night of semi finals.
There were some close games ,with a drop off in Mixed C needed to split the two teams.
Some favourites faltered and some proved their minor premierships were well deserved with convincing wins.more
Well it all comes down to this weeks games.
We have 4 teams [HBWB, Untouchables, IGA Maroon, St Marys]already in their respective grand finals and those teams have a training game this week to fine tune their team work ready for next week. The rest are out to gain the last 8 remaining places for this seasons deciders.

With summer here the club will be selling cold drinks on Monday nights.
Softdrinks and poppers as well as water are available and for the older players beverages that must be consumed in the allocated and fenced area.

This program is up and running with our first 8 Junior Coaches surviving the first 2 weeks. They are working with our new Juniors and the Mods developing activities and drills to help develop the knowledge and skills of these young players.
Not only will they learn a lot and develop a new skill they may gain an insight into the work their own coaches have done for them over the years.more
