New Caledonia wins 3 golds – teams bronze to Cook Islands

It was an amazing morning. The sun shone beautifully over Avatiu's second wharf. Fishermen delayed going out for the day, to honour the big event of the day, the Pacific Mini Games Triathlon.

Triathletes will take to the Avatiu harbour at 8.30 this morning for the swim leg of the Pacific Mini Games multi-sport event.

A total of 25 athletes from seven Pacific nations including the Cook Islands will tackle the Pacific Mini Games triathlon course tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.
