The Coffs/Sawtell, and Woolgoolga Schubert 7's Gala days have been postponed due to the miserable weather that hit the coast this week. The Coffs/Sawtell gala day will now be played on Wednesday 15th June 2011, and the Woolgoolga day will now be played on Thursday the 21st June 2011, with the Mid North Coast Schubert 7's finals being moved back to the 21st July.

Australian Rugby League Development would like to invite your school to participate in The BCU Cup which is a new competition aimed at finding the premier Under 16 school team on the North Coast of NSW from Tweed Heads to Port Macquarie. It is also a great opportunity for schools that can’t participate in our Wednesday afternoon competition (Clint Greenshields Cup) in Term 3 to participate in competitive Rugby League. It is hoped that this competition will become a major event in the North Coast High School Sporting Calendar.more
Thanks to miserable weather the Coffs Harbour/Sawtell preliminary round of the State wide Legends Shield meant to take place on Thursday 7th April will now be held at Sawtell's Rex Hardacker Oval on Tuesday the 31st May 2011.
Schools that were not able to attand the original date, now have the oppotunity compete in the day.

On the 19th Feburary 2011 ARL Development and Orara Valley Tomahawks, Coffs Harbour Comets, and Sawtell Panthers Junior Rugby League Clubs will be conducting a Registration Day at the playing fields next to the BCU International Stadium before the NRL Trial match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Gold Coast Titans.
If you re interested in playing Rugby League in 2011 and would like to take advantage of what's on offer at the rego day, then come along between 2pm and 4pm.
There will be a Jumping Castle, BBQ, Face Paiting and Games. Every junior that signs up to a club on the day will also receive a FREE ticket to the NRL game, a FREE bank account courtesy of BCU and some more exciting gifts. There might also be a chance to meet some NRL stars!

The development of Junior Rugby League has been given a boost, with BCU and the Mid North Coast
division of Australian Rugby League Development teaming up to promote education and opportunity to
SOUTH Sydney have flown back into ‘Camp Rabbitoh' and yesterday they opened up the training facility at Novotel Pacific Bay Resort to local school children.
Kids from several schools on the Coffs Coast were excited to be rubbing shoulders with NRL superstars as they were taken through the skills of the game by ARL development staff.
The Rabbitohs are in town this week for a pre-season training camp and are set to return in February ahead of a trial match against Gold Coast at Coffs Harbour's BCU International Stadium on Saturday, February 19.
