Preview:

Adelaide Blue Eagles who currently sit top of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League South Australia will look to continue their excellent start by inflicting more misery to struggling Para Hills Knights.

After only managing one victory thus far the Knights must dig deep if they are to come away with a result from the game

Having one of the best defences, conceding just six goals from the opening eight matches the Knights will have to rally if there is any hope of penetrating the Marden based sides formidable backline.

Striker Steven Ward knows it will be a tough but remains buoyant

“We have an attacking 4 or 5 so we’re going to work as unit to break down the defence and continue to build on what we’ve done in previous weeks”

The hungry Blue Eagles will aim to avoid a third straight draw as try and get back to winning ways, with central midfielder Adam Harris wary of the physical dual that awaits them.

“They are coming from good result, so we are expecting a tough game ahead.

“This weekend being a double header we are in for a physical battle [against Para hills]”

Harris believes the team will continue to play in the same style that has brought them success and knows they must be switched on throughout the 90 minutes.

We come into every game with same mentality and there is no game that is given to you so we know it well very tough to get a result”

The Knights front man feels there’s no added pressure in such games and underlines the general work ethic of the squad

“You always want your strikers to score but we have had multiple goal scores including defenders so it’s a really team effort

Ward hailed the travelling faithful for showing great support and could give Para Hills the extra push they need

We got fantastic supporters that travel around with us, being very vocal and giving us support from the sideline

Harris however, remains optimistic over another good result and applauds his team mates for not being fearful of any opposition as well as praising the front men.

It’s the mentality in our team, when we step up and play our game we know we can beat any side.

Our Strikers are playing well and contributing to the side
