The only goal of the match was scored by Nikola Ujdur who tucked it into the bottom left corner from close range in the 34th minute giving Tigers the lead into half-time.

West Canberra showed great courage fighting to the bitter end trying to break down the home side's strong defense.

They finally got their reward in stoppage time as Jaidon Selden was fouled inside the Tigers FC box rewarding the Wanderers a penalty.

Gabriel Cole stepped up to take, however, Tigers’ goalkeeper Jakob Cole proved to have nerves of steel.

He dove to his left, denying a West Canberra Wanderers equaliser which sent the Cooma crowd into celebration.

Gungahlin United FC 1 (Tkatchenko 70’) v Belconnen United FC 1 (Borgeuad 37’)

It was all square at the AIS as Belconnen United and Gungahlin United drew 1-1.

Gungahlin was threatening early with close attempts from Phillipe Bernabo-Madrid and Michael John who both hit the post by the half hour mark.

However, it was Belconnen United on the scoresheet first with Philippe Borgeaud nodding it in after a deep corner kick from Dustin Wells in the 37th minute.

Gungahlin’s Robbie Tkatchenko fancied his chances in the 70th minute scoring a stunning strike from range leveling the score to 1-1.

Despite close chances from both sides late into the game neither could break the deadlock leaving the score at 1-1.

Canberra Olympic FC 5 (Aisosa Ihegie 45+1’ James Crawford 51’, 75’ Chris Reay 54’, 64’) v Canberra Croatia FC 1 (Nikola Taneski 2’)

A brilliant start for Canberra Croatia saw them lead within two minutes at Deakin Stadium. Nikola Taneski found himself through on goal and with no hesitation, he calmly dribbled past the keeper to slot the ball into an open net.

Both teams worked hard throughout the rest of the half to gain an advantage, but it was Olympic who would score next to equalise the game just before half time as Aisosa Ihegie headed in a back post cross to tie the game at 1-1.

Olympic came out of half time the dominant team and their efforts were rewarded as James Crawford picked the ball up just inside the 18-yard box and on the turn rifled the ball into the bottom corner to make it 2-1.

This would spark the beginning of the end for Canberra Croatia as Chris Reay would put Olympic up 4-1 after scoring a brace in ten minutes.

James Crawford would cap the game off by scoring a second 15 minutes out from full time as Canberra Olympic shocked league leaders Canberra Croatia 5-1.

Tuggeranong United FC 1 (Mark Richards 14’) v Monaro Panthers FC 3 (Stephen Domenici 67’ Joshua Calabria 77’ Sebastian Woods 90+6’)

A Tuggeranong United side who are chasing their first win of the season came out for their game against Monaro with a point to prove and they did just that.

An excellent long pass by Jakeb Wiseman caught the Panthers defence sleeping and Mark Richards capitalised as he tucked the ball in at the near post to put Tuggeranong 1-0 up in under 15 minutes.

A momentary lapse in judgement by Conor Nolan would see him sent off right at the end of the first half for leading with his elbow into a challenge and Tuggeranong were left with ten men.

Tuggeranong were fighting hard to protect their lead in a very physical game but eventually the numbers would get the best of them as Stephen Domenici found himself one-on-one with the keeper after a quick throw in and would chip the goalkeeper to level the score.

Monaro would continue to pressure the Tuggeranong defence and in the 76th minute a rebound from a corner was pounced upon by Joshua Calabria and buried into the back of the net to give Monaro the lead.

In a desperate attempt to salvage a point Tuggeranong sent everyone up for a free kick including their goalkeeper in the 95th minute.

The ball was headed away by the Monaro defence and a long ball was capitalised on by Sebastian Woods who tapped it in to make it 3-1 and secure the win for the Panthers.
