Canberra will be represented by 45 female footballers at this weekend's AFL NSW/ACT Youth Girls State Cup, an enormous achievement for the region.
Held in Wagga Wagga this year, the ACT will field two teams in the state wide carnival, with some of Canberra's best up and coming female talent to be on display.
The ACT Pathway side will be coached by Adrian Pavese and Trish Young, with Scott Read in charge of the ACT Development squad.
Both teams have been training since the AFL Canberra Youth Girls competition wrapped up in mid September, and are eager to compete against other NSW/ACT regions on Saturday and Sunday.
