The Norm Goss Medal is awarded in honour of Norm Goss to the player judged Best on Ground in the VFL Senior Grade Grand Final. It was first awarded in 1983.
Norm Goss played 85 games for Port Melbourne and 8 games for Hawthorn in the VFL. Goss was Port Melbourne Football Club Secretary from 1947 - 1976, President from 1981 - 1983 and VFA Vice-President from 1976 - 1981.
Goss is a Life Member of the Port Melbourne Football Club and the VFA.
