President of the American Samoa Basketball Federation, Milton Taufa'asau, has been very active in promoting more youth involvement with basketball. In conjunction with the American Samoa Department of Parks and Recreation, summer clinics are underway at three different venues, Alofau, Maleaimi & Tafuna.

The Federation is very pleased to see over 60 students at each of theses clinics. Coaches are working on fundermentals with the young children, while the high school students are getting the opportunity to hone their existing skills.

June 28th will the last day for the Parks & Recreations clinics, however, the Basketball Association will conduct its own clinic on July 9th under the supervision of coaches from the USA.
