H4H coordinator Catherine Grawich visit Kiribati

On Monday 15th June, Catherine was her first day arrival and picked by Mr Tekabara Raunrenti and back strainght to her aoccomadation. In the next day Tuesday 16th June, Catherine was effectively started her program by first visiting two primary schools located closely to the NOC office. The H4H coaching session was conducted by H4H coaches in delivering basketball skills objectives and together with health objective. The main aim of this program is to increase the number of young people to adult stay fit, active and the same time reduce the risk of NCD's.

Catherine was enjoying watching H4H coaches in the first day school visit on how they run and deliver this program to young kids boys and girls. She recommend that most of message/skills delivered to young kids are simple, effective and fun as well. She also gives some tips to coaches while sitting with NBDO and H4H Coordinator during the evaluation/assessment for feedback and also she ecourage these coaches to keep up the good job. After discussion with coaches, Catherine also sit with NBDO and Tek according to the program as to give some updates from FIBA Oceania side prior to the meeting with KBF on Wednesday 17th June at 5pm in KNOC Office. On Wednesday morning Tek and Catherine went out to meet with other stakeholders seeking their support and feedback while the program has been launched in the country. 

In the last day meeting with KBF, Catherine gives lot of updates to the board where H4H program in progress and ask in regards to KBF way forward plans and budget for the next 6 months.
