2 weeks training camp - U12 B&G

During a second week of training, young kids was playing a lot using different skills were gained and learned in the first week of training. Every day parents came and watch their kids playing and have fun and also monitor their progress in performing different kind skills. While parents came everyday, NBDO also provide handout to them to use spare time work with their kids in order to learn fast.

A total of 50 boys and girls has been registered by paying 2.00 for the first week and another 2.00 for the second week of training.  These sort of money has been used for paying other coaches while running the training with kids.  Also for other admin stuff such as purchasing and printing certificate using other companies printers to print out 50 certificate for boys and girls.

On the last day of training, all kids has been split in 2 teams both boys and girls to compete in the closing day to show and perform skills they have given in the weeks training.  On Saturday 7th September 3pm all parents came to support the special moment for their kids who will playing basketball and also to watch them how quick they learned in only two weeks training. According to the program, opening remarks from NBDO and KBF Vic President by welcoming all quest and young kids to the main event.  After that girls start to kick off the first game and then boys.  Every single boy and girl were performing great job while they play.  Imagine you watch a young boy and girl performing a right stand to pivot, stopping, passing, shooting and dribling.  The FIBA Oceania donation of clothes has been used for these kids by wearing a yellow and black tops.  Each kids were enjoying playing with uniforms as they can see clearly other teams.  After the game each kids received certificate of participation.

Plan

NBDO and coaches will maintain the training to these kids to attend Saturdays training as to develop them in more advance things.  These kids will be joined further development program to become potential young players to attend regional events and others sport specific in future.
