Temafa sets 3 records at Grand Prix 1

Young Tritons Swimming Club representative, Temafa Yalimaiwai, set 3 new records at today's Fiji Swimming Grand Prix 1 at the National Aquatic Centre in Suva.

Temafa set new records in the Boys 9 - 10 Year age group as follows:

100m Butterfly: 1 minute 19.97 seconds, breaking his own record of 1 minute 20.70 seconds set in April 2011

200m Freestyle: 2 minutes 35.74 seconds, breaking the previous record of 2 minutes 36.31 seconds set in December 2005 by Jack Smith from Tritons Swimming Club

400m Freestyle: 5 minutes 28.20 seconds, breaking the previous record of 5 minutes 44.76 seconds set in October 2009 by Wilisoni Malani from Race Club.
