Tieri Erasito wins Fiji Junior Athlete Award

Tieri's award reflected her record breaking 2008 domestic season and her performances at the 2008 Oceania Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand and the Pacific Schools Games in Canberra, Australia.

Meanwhile Tieri's fellow Fiji Swimming Award winner, Douglas Miller is now at school at St. Josephs College, Nudgee, Brisbane and training under Matt Brown at the Brothers Swimming Club.

Both swimmers are looking forward to qualifying for the Fiji Swim Teams to the 2009 FINA World Championships, the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, the 2011 Pacific Games in New Caledonia and the big one – London 2012.
