Huge Day for LYVNA at Zone Tournament
Huge day by our Rep Teams last Sunday. We had 6 teams represent our association in the Central East Zone tournament at a very cold and wet Knox today. This is our qualifying tournament for the Association Championships.
Our 13-1 and 13-2 teams played strongly all day and finished 4th and 3rd in their pools.
Both our 17's, despite have a large number of missing player, finished top of their pools after the rounds but unfortunately both lost the first semi by 1 goal.
Our 15-1 and 15-2 teams made it into the grand final. In the 15U Championship division, our 15-1's came runners after extra time in the final and in the 15U Reserve division our 15-2's finished premiers.
Our 15-1's have now qualified for the Association Championships in a month.
Congratulations to all our players on a great performance today. All of the clubs should be very proud of your players. They represented your club and our association outstandingly today.
