Our annual Representative Tournament was held last Sunday at Mooroolbark.  

We had teams from all Melbourne travel to our humble little courts including as far as Traralgon, Officer and Kardinia.

This year we had 75 teams enter which is about 25 more than usual and we had around 20 other teams we couldn't fit in.  We must be doing something right.

With around 2000 people crammed around the courts we were litterally bursting at the seams.  Every spare space was covered with tents, chairs and people.

Despite a some mud and computer software issues, the day ran very smoothly.  

The canteen, BBQ, cake stall and raffle were all very busy and profitable.  Thanks Carmel, Sara and Troy and all the parents that helped to make them a success.

All our 11 LYVNA teams made finals, with 5 premiers and 3 runners up so we left with a lot of silverware.

Thanks to all umpires, coaches, players and committee for making this a successful tournament.

Well done everyone!!

We look forward to our next tournament at our new courts in Kilsyth.  It will be nice to be able to spread out a little.
