2012 SGB Rd 4 Bulldogs v Central Coast (Report)

Bulldogs OLD

The Bulldogs SG Ball team have returned to form with an impressive and comfortable 48-22 victory against Central Coast after a slow start to the season.

Central Coast made a competitve start, but once the Bulldogs got on a roll they cruised to a 36-12 early in the second half until two quick tries by the Centurions breathed some life into the match. When the Central Coast missed the conversion attempt that would have brought them back within two converted tries the match was all the Bulldogs.

Two late tries by the Bulldogs rounded off a comprehensive result. Bulldogs lock Addison Demetriou had an outstanding match scoring 20 points through one try and eight goals from as many attempts.

Prop Jack Creighton and five-eighth Guston Jasmin also had fine games.

The Bulldogs do battle against the Western Australia Reds in Round 5 action at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday 10th March 2012 with kick off at 12.30pm. With only one match at Belmore this weekend there won't be any ground entry fee.
