Round Preview
Narooma v Tathra
The Narooma Lions will come into this weekends contest against the Tathra Sea Eagles with their tales up as they look to claim a second win in two weeks at home against a Sea Eagles side who suffered a heavy loss last weekend at the hands of the Merimbula Diggers. With home games in the last three weeks the Lions will be looking to end their season on a good note and springboard their 2016 season whilst the Sea Eagles will be looking to gain some confidence as they head into week one of the finals where they will take on the Bega Bombers.
Player to Watch– Tom Clarke. Tom has been Narooma’s best player in 2015 and he will be keen to continue his stellar season.
Bermagui v Bega
The Bermagui Breakers have undergone a change in coach over the past week with Dale Cameron finishing his time with the club two weeks early due to personal reasons. With a highly unsuccessful season in 2015 the Breakers will be looking to round out the season on a high note with their final matches against finals bound Bega and Tathra. The Bombers put up a brave fight last weekend against the Panthers who have struggled in recent times against the Bombers and this will give the Bombers confidence going into the finals in two weeks.
Player to Watch– Paul Lazarro. Lazza as he is known continues to lead the way for the Breakers providing guidance for the team.

In this weekends action the Narooma Lions take on the Bega Bombers at home as they move closer to an unbeaten season. Nick Forester has been outstanding for Bega in 2015 and will aim to get his side a win before the season is out. Will this weekend be the one? Probably not but they will look to put up a good fight against the high flying Lions. In the second match this weekend local rivals Merimbula and Pambula take on each other at Berrambool Sports Complex. The Diggers have struggled in recent match-ups against the Panthers with the finals match-ups already set with two rounds left to play. Will Regan and Shane Gartside have had solid seasons in 2015 for the Diggers and will look to control the midfield battle on Saturday at home.

In the match-up of the round, first will play second in the match that could shape the finals series two weeks out from finals. If the Diggers can secure a win over top of the table Panthers they will take a step in the right direction to finish top two. Jed Martyn and Jak Howker have been tremendous in 2015 and will be looking for a big game this weekend against the 2014 premiers. Bermagui have been highly impressive in recent weeks as they have been comprehensive against the Diggers and Lions in the past two weeks. Rocco Lagana leads the goal kicking and will look to increase his lead as the Breakers take on Bega this weekend. The Bombers have improved tremendously over the course of the season and will look to continue their improvement over the last two weeks. Narooma host the Giants in the remaining match with the Lions looking to bounce back after a tough loss last weekend against the Breakers. With Narooma PS claiming the South Coast PK Cup early in the week the future is bright for the Lions.

This weekend is an important round in the under elevens as the Lions host the Giants in an important match for the Lions. A win against the Giants will see the Lions jump into second and make a huge step to finishing top two and claim a second chance in 2015. Although this is the case the Giants will be looking to win this weekend and secure top spot going into the finals in 2015. Narooma have looked good at home in 2015 and will look to continue that trend this weekend.
