Point Cook Junior Vice-President Mark King is excited to get season 2014 underway, with good numbers at training and a new Youth Girls team the start of good things to come.
Number of teams this year:
The Point Cook Football Club will be fielding approx 13 teams, including our first Youth Girls team.
Pre-season News:
Our off-season has been really good, with strong numbers seen at training session throughout the different age groups. We have also started up our new Youth Girls team this season, which the club is really excited to have on board. We have a great coach in Belinda McErvale who has been involved in football for 10 years leading the girls this season, so the girls are in good hands for their debut season.
Any new junior players wanting to get involved in the club this year are asked to contact Mark King on 0447 156 108. It’s not too late to sign up! No prior experience needed-all players welcome!
Expectations for 2014:
Win a flag, play finals and above all develop the kids individually and as a team.
Staff/coaching changes:
This year we would like to welcome Cameron McKenzie who is the new Coach of our U12’s, as well as Belinda McErvale who will be our new Youth Girls coach this year.
