BRAYBROOK
Relegation to Division Three mid-way through last season proved to benefit the Brookers, with both senior and reserve teams playing Grand Final football.
With the seniors taking home the silverware in a thriller against Albanvale by just two-points, coach Michael Shepperbottom says Braybrook is working hard to make sure they claim back-to-back flags.

Two sides- Seniors & Reserves
How has the pre-season been?
The pre-season started off fairly slowly before picking up recently, with an average of 30 players at training which is pleasing. The introduction of Auskick this year is a big step forward by the club who is working hard to steer us in the right direction as well as affiliating with the Western All Stars, promoting multiculturalism in footy which is really exciting for myself and the club.
Any noteworthy signings for 2015?
A few of our noteworthy signings this season include Nathan Calleja from West Footscray, Tom and Will Kimpton who have come across from the Albury Tigers and Steve Spike who is returning from overseas.
What are your expectations for the new season?
To consolidate and play consistent team footy and keep trying to build that winning culture and hopefully play finals footy.
Who are the young up and coming players to look out for this year?
A couple of young players to keep an eye on this season would be Heath Smith, Jack Hargreaves, Jason Cousins and Brent Buckow. All four men have a great amount of talent and are looking forward to big seasons this year.
Are there any coaching changes this season?
The club has had three new coaching appointments with Lee Braun selected as our Reserves coach, Peter Krueger as our Senior Assistant while Mark Rhodes will also join the coaching panel as an Assistant.
