U17 Nationals - Top 4 for Boys and Girls team
Big congratulations to both our WWABi U17 Boys and Girls team who had a great week at Nationals finishing in the top 4 in NZ. The girls finished 2nd after losing to Waikato in the final while the boys had a great run all week and lost to Canterbury for 4th place.
WWABi teams were not even ranked to finished in the top 8 this season and definitely showed the doubters their ability after a Top 4 finished for both genders at Nationals this week.
A big thanks to all players and staff and parents who have helped and supported both teams all season. Thank you Raymond, Witana, Rina, Jason, Judson, Jude and Tai.
Also huge congrats to Kale Lawson, Mele Latu and Eliana Tuaiti for making tournament team selections as well. All 3 players were key to their teams performance and results.
